Canada Day

On July 1st, the City of Owen Sound throws a FREE Canada Day extravaganza for the whole family at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park.
Prepare for a day packed with activities for the whole family including a dog show, pony rides, music, and lots of great entertainment open to all.

Four Winds Music Festival

West Grey
Hosted on 136 acres of forest, farmland, and riverfront at Riverstone Retreat just outside Durham, Ontario, the festival combines outstanding music with sunrise yoga, swimming, camping, drumming, dancing, and more. A weekend getaway for music lovers of all kinds!

Dundalk Fall Fair

Enjoy a full weekend of family fun at the 169th Dundalk Fall Fair, featuring a truck & tractor pull, livestock shows, exhibits, vendors, live entertainment, and a free kids’ zone with inflatables. Enjoy food booths all weekend, experience top talent in the square dancing, step dancing, and fiddle competitions. This is as genuine as it gets - a rural fall fair nearly 170 years in the making.

Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival
September 18-20
Georgian Bluffs & Owen Sound
The festivities begin with the Participants' Tour on Friday, followed by Cars & Coffee and Oblivion Avenue on Saturday. The main event, the Concours d'Elegance, will be held on Sunday at Cobble Beach Golf Resort and Community, featuring a stunning array of international automobiles and special guests. Gates open at 9:00 am, with the awards ceremony at 2:15 pm.

Meaford Scarecrow Invasion and Parade

From early September through October, Meaford is transformed by an array of unique and whimsical scarecrows, continuing a beloved fall tradition. Take a scenic drive through town to admire the creativity of local businesses and residents as they decorate their properties with festive scarecrows and autumn-themed displays. Don’t miss the Scarecrow Parade & Family Festival on Friday, October 3, 2025!

Festival of Northern Lights Launch

Experience the magic as dazzling light displays illuminate Owen Sound. With over 400 displays and 25 kilometers of lights, the Sydenham riverbanks, the River District, and Harrison Park will shine bright this winter. This favourite community event fills the streets with festive lights, live entertainment, family activities, horse-drawn wagon rides, roaming performers, visits with Santa, and holiday treats from local businesses.
