Sunny Sunday Tours of Beautiful Joe Park

Enjoy a 30-minute guided walking tour of this shaded and historic place that celebrates the animal/human bond. Beautiful Joe, Canada's most famous dog, is buried here and his story dates back to the 1890’s. An expert from the Beautiful Joe Heritage Society will walk you along the level trail as you learn Joe’s story; about the person who made him internationally famous; and why this unique park and its monuments even exist. The pace is relaxed and interactive with many anecdotes. Benches are strategically placed in case a rest is needed. Tours are free, but donations are always gratefully accepted.
