Shoreline Painting

We are privileged to live in a region with an abundance of fresh water lakes and the beautiful great lakes. Depicting water and shorelines in your paintings is a skill every painter needs. In this class you will learn how to represent water and shorelines in a way that speaks to the quiet and calm of still water or the excitement of waves. Reflection and light will also be addressed to give your work a realistic quality. Exercises in the morning will culminate in a painting of a local waterway in the afterrnoon. Reference material of local landmarks and streetscapes will be provided DATES & TIMES SAT JULY 11th 10:00am to 3:00pm YOUR TUTOR Kim Atlin Raised in rural Ontario, Kim moved to Toronto to attend the Ontario College of Art and Design and stayed.
