Grey Bruce Makers Festival & Craft Show
Grey Bruce Makers is excited to announce the first annual Grey Bruce Makers, Makers Festival & Craft Show, taking place on Saturday, June 27, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the back field of Sydenham Campus in Owen Sound. The Festival will bring together makers, artists, entrepreneurs, families, local businesses, and community organizations for a full day celebrating creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning. Attendees can enjoy: Tool Swap Craft Vendors Contests & Awards Ceremony Tool Demonstrations Kids Activities Blacksmithing Demonstrations Live Music Food Vendors With free admission, we anticipate welcoming more than 600 attendees from across the Grey Bruce region. Attractions We’re excited to announce an incredible lineup of attractions, vendors, and entertainment confirmed so far for the event! Guests can look forward to the Bayshore Broadcasting Cruiser on-site, appearances from Alex Ruff MP, and delicious eats from the Who Gives A Flying Fork? food truck. Live entertainment will include performances by Trio Infernale and the Roxy Young Company, featuring the talented Roxy kids singers. Hands-on demonstrations will be provided by Forty Hills Forge, showcasing traditional blacksmithing techniques including nail forging and small animal creations for visitors. We’re also proud to feature several talented Maker members and local vendors, including: Zack (Grey Bruce Makers) – handcrafted metalwork including fire pits, lanterns, and more Mark (Grey Bruce Makers) – custom laser engraving creations Laura (Grey Bruce Makers) – 3D printed helmets, collectibles, and “cool nerd stuff” The Knotty Tuft – handmade hats, carpets, and cozy knit creations Sponsorship Opportunities We are currently inviting local businesses and organizations to partner with us as event sponsors.
