Emancipation Festival Speaker’s Corner

The Emancipation Festival, in partnership with Grey Roots Museum & Archives, invites you to an evening of engaging dialogue with educators, historians and descendants of freedom seekers. Celebrate 164 years of the longest continuous festival in North America! Bobby Dean Blackburn (music during reception) Legacy – From the Past, Present and Future speakers and a performance from the Mellish Dancers Guest speakers: Dorothy Abbott, Lesa Walker and Carolynn and Sylvia Wilson Admission fee is $25. Purchase tickets in advance or at the door. Appetizers will be provided and refreshments will be available.
