Pretty River Valley Provincial Park

The land bears the marks of a retreating glacier -- meltwater channels, moraine, outwash, and till. The escarpment geology features several good crevice caves. Although the area is without facilities, and camping is not permitted, visitors may enjoy hiking, fishing, and cross-country skiing. Pretty River Valley is part of the Niagara Escarpment Parks System and the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve. The natural features are easily damaged.
