Grey County Forest 24 - Glenelg Klondyke
Notice: The Glenelg Klondyke Trail is temporarily closed to users due to tree harvesting / logging operations. The closure starts on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Please check our trail listings and/or Trailforks for updates on trail closures.
This forest features upland hardwood forest and conifer plantations covering rugged terrain that provides many scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The trails in the forest are groomed for cross country skiing by the Glenelg Nordic Ski Club. The OFSC snowmobile trail travels down the unopened road allowance through this property and connects to the other trails on the north and south sides of the property. This trail is groomed and maintained by the local snowmobile club. Other permitted activities include hiking, mountain biking, hunting and snowshoeing (off the ski tracks).
